Ronin Coal LLC– Owns coal royalty interests purchased in June 2006 out of the Enron Bankruptcy and is actively pursuing the purchase of additional coal, oil&gas and industrial mineral royalty or operating interests.

Piermex-- provides oilfield services, equipment and products in Mexico. Company was founded in 2008 and  is rapidly growing.

Atlas Resin Proppants

Atlas is a leading producer of resin coated frac sand for the oil & gas industry. The company was formed in early 2005 and built a green field plant in Taylor, Wisconsin to meet increased demand for proppant to hydraulically fracture oil & gas wells in North America. Atlas was sold to a strategic buyer in October 2007 after the plant was operating at full capacity and construction had begun on a second plant.

Chandler Instruments Company LLC

Chandler was purchased in 1997 from EG&G (now PerkinElmer). Chandler is the world leader in cementing and fluid rheology instruments for the E&P industry. Chandler also manufactures measurement instruments used in the natural gas pipeline industry. The company’s sales tripled through new product introductions resulting from engineering and development spending and from acquisition of related product companies.  This company was successfully sold in August 2003 to a strategic industry buyer.

Grabner Instruments KG

Grabner Instruments located in Vienna Austria and its North American distributor, Petrolab, were acquired in April 2002. Grabner is a leading company in producing laboratory instruments for measuring physical properties of refined petroleum products. This company was sold along with Chandler in August 2003.
